Position Overview

Albert & Ellis Landscaping & Tree Service is looking for a skilled and dedicated Tree Service Worker to join our team. This position requires experience in tree climbing, pruning, and operating equipment such as chainsaws and chippers. We offer a dynamic work environment and the opportunity to grow within the industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Climb Trees: Safely perform tree climbing for trimming, removal, and other tree services.
• Physical Labor: Lift and carry heavy materials (up to 90 lbs) and assist in clearing debris.
• Safety Protocols: Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
• Communication: Effectively communicate with team members and supervisors to complete projects efficiently.
• Required Experience and Skills
• Knowledge of proper pruning techniques and removal practices.
• Experience with advanced climbing, rigging, and roping techniques.
• Proficiency with chainsaws, wood chippers, and other arboriculture equipment.
• Willingness to learn and grow in your trade.
• Must possess a valid and insurable driver's license.

Preferred Skills

• Work Ethic: Strong work ethic with a proactive attitude.
• Equipment Operation: Experience operating additional equipment such as stump grinders.
• Tree Care Knowledge: Understanding of tree care practices and terminology.
• Ability to Follow Instructions: Ability to follow directions from supervisors and experienced team members.

Compensation
Pay is up to $40.00 per hour, depending on experience and skill level, for W-2 employees.
We are also accepting applications for contract climbers. Pay will be negotiated based on experience.
